Curd (cottage cheese) bake

Lietuviška versija čia.
Very easy breakfast bake from curd or cottage cheese. It's not a desert, not a pudding, yet I couldn't find the best name for it in English. Maybe somebody can help? :)
I used to eat this many mornings all of my life. I is good for breakfast or just simply cold as a snack. It is simple to make, no fancy ingredients, but very delicious. For the curd lovers, again :)
You will need (for 2 servings):
  • 1 package of good quality low fat curd or non-salted cottage cheese
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of semolina
  • 0,5-1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
  • a pinch of salt (if you still have decided to use salted cottage cheese - skip this step)
Last two ingredients make a big difference...

Preparation:
Mix good all the ingredients in a bowl. Really - mix very good till smooth. Take a non sticking baking tray. Grease the small baking tray with oil (not too much), cover with crumbs (also not too much - just a very thin layer). Pour the curd mass in. Put in the oven preheated to 190 C for 40 minutes. If the top is not brown, turn the air circulation mode for about 1-2 minutes after finished. When it's ready, hold the tray over a plate, turn your bake up side down and it should fall out from the tray.
Just as simple as that :)

And some more tips:
This recipe is easy to adapt to your taste: you can add poppy seeds, berries, rice, milk etc.
You can even make it in a cupcake form:
I found this photo in my phone, someone bit them already...:) Those were with poppy seeds.
Also delicious with sour-cream and jam.
