Champignon soup

Lietuviška versija štai čia.
Very delicious, easy to make soup. Also very beautiful! I didn't even expect such a good result! It was one of those moments: "very bad soup - ended too quick". :)

Ingredients:
  • 1 very big potato
  • 1 medium carrot
  • 1 medium onion
  • 7 small champignons
  • 2 tablespoons of flour (not necessary, I forgot and it was just fine)
  • half cup of cream (or 125 ml)
  • bouillon cube
  • 1 liter of water
  • a bunch of parsley
  • butter
P.S. Later I regretted that I didn't make a double portion. ;)

Preparation:
  1. Dice potatoes and boil in the water together with bouillon.
  2. Finely chop the onion and bake with some butter.
  3. Cut champignons in slices, add to the onion and bake for 10 more minutes.
  4. Grate the carrot with a medium size grater, add to the onion and bake under the lid for 10 more minutes.
  5. Add the flour and bake a little bit more.
  6. Pour all this mass into the pot with potatoes and bring to boiling.
  7. Pour the cream, add chopped parsley and bring to boiling.
