Fish soup with chorizo

Lietuviška versija čia.
Very delicious fish soup with chorizo sausage. Since I tried it for a first time, it became one of my favorite soups. And it is easy to make!

You will need:
  • Few peaces of various fish: this time I used 200 gr. of white and 250 gr. of red
  • 125 gr. of chorizo sausage
  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 2 smaller or 1 big onion
  • 1 can of tomatoes in it's own juice or raw tomatoes
  • fish bullion
  • paprika powder
  • chili pepper powder
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • salt (optional)
Preparation:
Cut chorizo sausage into small peaces, bake it shortly in a pot until the fats are starting to come out, add finely chopped onion and bake for another 5 minutes. Add cut potatoes, paprika and chili, braise for 2 minutes. Then add skinless chopped tomatoes or canned tomatoes. Pour the fish bullion in, cover with lid and boil on a medium heat for about 20 minutes.
Cut the fish into peaces, season with salt and pepper (I do only the pepper, because for me there's enough salt from bullion and chorizo). Put the fish into the pot and boil covered for another 5 minutes on a very low heat. If you need - add salt and pepper. Relish with fresh herbs, if you have.
Enjoy your meal! :)
